Boeing's Defense, Space and Security (BDS) Human Resources (HR) team has an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Lead Human Resources Generalist. This role will serve as the HR Site Leader for our Space, Intelligence and Weapons Systems (SI&WS) organization in Heath, OH.

As the HR Site Leader, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our business by leading and managing all aspects of human resources at the site. You will partner with business leaders to develop and implement HR strategies, programs, and initiatives that align with our overall business objectives and support our talented workforce.

Position responsibilities:


  • Serve as the primary HR point of contact for the Heath, Ohio site, providing guidance and support to employees and leaders on HR policies, procedures and programs
  • Partner with business leaders to understand their strategic objectives and develop HR strategies that drive employee engagement, talent development and organizational effectiveness
  • Recommend and proposal on key functional strategies, develop long and short-term strategies involving policies (e.g., Diversity, Employee Engagement and Functional Excellence) and embed people plans in the operating rhythm of the organization using business knowledge
  • Utilize HR metrics and people data to drive solutions based on trends and understand effectiveness of support provided
  • Lead and manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance management, employee relations and offboarding
  • Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence and Labor Relations organizations to ensure effective delivery of HR programs and initiatives, such as talent acquisition, compensation, and benefits, learning and development and employee engagement
  • Drive a culture of diversity, inclusion and belonging by promoting and supporting initiatives that foster an inclusive work environment
  • Coach and provide guidance to leaders on employee engagement and performance matters, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and procedures
  • Partner with site leadership to identify and address workforce planning needs, including talent acquisition, succession planning and workforce development
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations


This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):


  • 5+ years of combined experience in Human Resources and/or Leadership roles leading diverse teams, initiatives, or projects to meet business objectives and influence change
  • 5+ years of experience in a role that required use of equal employment opportunity laws and regulations
  • 5+ years of experience performing in a leadership role


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):


  • Human Resources certification
  • Experience executing strategies and managing projects that promote a culture of superior customer service and exceptional employee engagement
  • Experience collaborating across organizational boundaries to deliver an integrated final product
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills, high-impact communication style


Typical Education/Experience:

Typically 15 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Shift:

This position is for 1st shift.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $128,350 - $173,650
