Role Summary

The Performance Media Lead will focus on managing and optimizing biddable channels, such as paid search, programmatic, and paid social campaigns. This role is crucial for driving new user growth and scaling acquisition efforts sustainably. In this position, you will work closely with finance, analytics, performance agencies and external media partners to ensure our campaigns are maximizing for conversion. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of performance marketing and optimization techniques, and proven experience in delivering measurable results.

Responsibilities

  • Own the strategy and execution of performance marketing campaigns across paid search, programmatic, and paid social channels.
  • Continuously monitor and optimize campaigns to improve performance and achieve growth targets.
  • Efficiently manage and allocate budgets across channels to maximize ROI.
  • Analyze campaign performance data to generate actionable insights and inform future strategies.
  • Work closely with agency partners to execute campaigns and ensure alignment with Rivian's performance goals.
  • Design and implement A/B tests and other experiments to optimize campaign performance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing analytics, creative, and product, to ensure cohesive execution of acquisition strategies.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in performance media to inform strategy and execution.
  • Provide regular performance reports to key stakeholders, highlighting insights and recommendations.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in performance marketing, specifically managing paid search, programmatic, and paid social campaigns.
  • Demonstrated success in driving new user growth through performance marketing.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate insights.
  • Expertise in paid advertising platforms (Google Ads, Meta) and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Tableau).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with the automotive or technology sectors is a plus.
  • Self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Pay Disclosure

Salary Range for Washington and California Based Applicants: $112,100 to $140,100 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).

Benefits Summary: Rivian provides robust medical/Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Rivian covers most of the premiums.
