Lead Planner

We have a rewarding opportunity for a Senior Planner, Lead Planner to join our world class manufacturing and design facility in Newtown, PA.

As our Senior Planner, you are a highly motivated professional with a collaborative spirit, a keen attention to detail and the tenacity to drive progress. Your professional planning experience to meet customer requirements while ensuring the achievement of business and financial goals will be critical to successfully planning, scheduling, and coordinating/monitoring final approval of products through the complete production cycle. Working from engineering plans and production specifications, you will establish production schedules, labor loading, and capacity requirements.

Your Challenge

• Develops and maintains detailed schedules, production plans and material requirements lists in accordance with the Master Production Schedule, for products, proposal efforts and/or production processes.
• Coordinates Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Material Control, Quality and other departments to achieve optimum utilization of facilities in meeting production schedules.
• Provides input to management regarding problems such as scheduling problems, material shortages, design changes and backlogs.
• Releases and maintains all appropriate paperwork.
• Provides direction and leadership for lower-level employees.
  
  

What You Bring

• 3+ years’ experience in manufacturing planning in an MRP environment; electronics experience and SAP experience both highly desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management/business administration or relevant field or equivalent experience in similar role.
• Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills including influencing and collaboration with cross-functional internal partners.
• Ability to find creative solutions to complex issues and manage change.
• Ability to be a change leader in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in S&OP processes and forecast implementation.
• Highly proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Due to the nature of work, must be US citizen and be able to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance.
  
  

Preferred

• APICS Certification highly desirable
• Experience in an AS9100 environment is an asset.
• Six Sigma / Lean Manufacturing knowledge desirable.
