Water plays a crucial role in food and beverage manufacturing. With the high volumes of wastewater produced in F&B manufacturing, proper treatment is essential for compliance, cost savings, and sustainability. Unlike traditional wastewater monitoring methods, total organic carbon (#TOC) monitoring allows for: - Faster analysis time - Real-time data for adjusting chemical dosing - Confirmation of treatment effectiveness - Optimization of resource use To learn more about the benefits of organics monitoring, check out this article! https://bit.ly/3RUpakn #TotalOrganicCarbon #OrganicsMonitoring #WaterQuality #WaterAnalysis #Sievers #FoodAndBeverage #F&B

10 years ago, Acadia University’s firetube boilers exhibited significant scaling on the boiler tubes that reduced heat transfer and increased fuel cost. Veolia’s Solus* boiler dispersant helped prevent further deposition and dislodge existing deposits. This resulted in $77,500 in yearly savings and a reduction of 13 MT of CO₂. This month, ZeeWeed Customer Spotlight takes us to Asia to an oil company that required produced water to be treated not only to enhanced limits but to a very low turbidity level at the surface discharge outlet of the treatment plant. Produced water is often injected back into reservoirs to enhance pressure and oil recovery. However, the quality of injected produced water is critical to ensure it does not damage the reservoir porosity. ASM, a global supplier of semiconductor equipment, wanted to reduce water consumption at its Phoenix, Arizona facility. Veolia determined that the facility’s cooling tower system could use less water by increasing cycles of concentration and reducing discharge flow. This solution helped ASM reduce water consumption by over 60% and save $32,220 per year. Click the link to read the full case study: https://bit.ly/3xJ8Hc2 #VeoliaCaseStudy
