Job Description
Discover will not sponsor or transfer employment work visas for this position. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Responsible for managing projects from inception to implementation. Leads project teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budgets, and meet business needs. Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.

Compensation
The base pay for this position generally ranges between $75,500.00 to $127,900.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Job Description

Responsible for managing projects from inception to implementation. Leads project teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budgets, and meet business needs. Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.
Responsibilities
- Assembles project teams and aligns roles and responsibilities for all project resources.
- Documents agendas, meeting minutes, action items, and issue logs. Communicate project statuses to stakeholders.
- Gathers business requirements and translates them for project teams. Manages all aspects of each project. Leads project teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet business needs.
- Ensures project progress is tracked and team members are providing progress updates.
- Assists with business requirements analyses. Manages project scopes, issues, and risks. Ensures change controls are executed appropriately. Estimates work efforts and manages resources.
- Actively manages and escalates risks to management as needed.
At a minimum, here’s what we need from you:
- Bachelor's Degree in Arts, Information Technology, Business, or related field
- 4+ years of experience in Project Management, Computer Science, Infrastructure Technology Solutions, or related field
- In lieu of a degree, 6+ years of experience in Project Management, Computer Science, Infrastructure Technology Solutions, or related experience
If we had our say, we’d also look for:
- 6+ years of experience in Project Management or related field
- Payments Industry experience
- JIRA
- Agile and/or Kanban
- PMP
