This role is pivotal in shaping our performance culture, with a specific focus on defining employee competencies, developing performance scorecards, and aligning these with our strategic business objectives. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic mindset, leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of performance management practices to drive organizational performance and development.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement a comprehensive performance management framework that integrates with Flexera's strategic objectives, fostering a high-performance culture
Develop and refine role-specific competency models and performance metrics, integrating them with our strategic talent objectives to foster a culture of high performance, objective assessments, and alignment with organizational goals
Collaborate with the People & Culture team, leadership, and department heads to ensure the seamless integration of performance management practices with career development, succession planning, and learning initiatives
Analyze performance and competency data to identify trends, address performance gaps, and recognize high-potential talent, driving strategic talent development decisions leveraging these insights to drive strategic talent development and decision-making
Lead training initiatives for managers and employees on effective goal setting, performance feedback, and utilization of performance management systems, ensuring the Leadership Commitment is embedded in all key talent processes and decisions
Promote a culture of continuous feedback, encouraging open communication around performance, improvement areas, and career aspirations
Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in talent performance management and competency development, adopting innovative approaches to enhance Flexera's practices and drive impact on business objectives
Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in talent management or performance management, including significant experience working with senior leaders, ideally in a tech environment
Demonstrated expertise in developing competency models, performance scorecards, and leading global talent management systems
Strong leadership skills, with a proven track record of mentoring teams and fostering a collaborative, inclusive work culture.
Excellent analytical abilities, adept at translating data into strategic insights for talent development.
Outstanding communication and consulting skills, capable of engaging and influencing across all levels of the organization.
Proficiency in HRIS and talent management software, with experience managing and evolving talent management technology.
