The Lean Manager will have the following duties and responsibilities:
Guide Operations team through Lean journey, providing ongoing teaching and coaching of lean principles, theories, practices and drives ownership and adoption through the operations team.
Teach, promote, and practice the lean principles and tools.
Help create a culture of problem solving.
Lead Kaizen activity to drive focused improvements in specific areas.
Coach hourly KPOs, PTLs and facilitators in identifying problems, drive for root cause identification, implement and sustain fixes.
Create Value Stream maps to see waste in processes and lead process redesign, coach team in development of standard work that eliminates waste and creates better flow for processes.
Communicate and coordinate effectively with supply chain partners to achieve goals and results.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university plus at least 3 years’ experience leading in manufacturing in a shop floor environment (or High School Diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution with 6 years of additional experience).

Knowledge of the disciplines of manufacturing management such as production and inventory control, quality management systems, and standard cost systems
Knowledge of manufacturing policies and regulations as well as government and other customers
Knowledge of products, processes, customer requirements and budgeting / financial processes
Change agent with strong credibility and influence in the organization
Demonstrated results leading process improvement.
Six Sigma Green / Black belt certification or equivalent quality certification
Knowledge of and experience in Lean as an operational leader
Lean Training
This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.
