Legal/Compliance Automation Specialist – Medical Insurance Claims
We are working with a growing Insurance technology company looking to add 1-2 new Legal & Compliance Specialists to the team! You Must have minimum of 2 years experience working with (Medical) Claims related to Insurance products like (Workers Compensation, Bodily Injury) or other similar Claims that are based on (Medical) information reviews. This role will be focused on improving process, workflow, automation, projects and products related to the Claims process for Automation purposes at the Carrier. We are looking for detail oriented, self motivated and out of the box thinkers who are great with technology. This role will act as an internal Consultant and SME. You will interact and collaborate with other areas of the business like Sales and Operations helping to improve process and design for automated technology solutions. Any experience with Automation projects, working with AI, developing rules or workflow process is ideal. This role is specific to Legal/Compliance issues specifically related to Medical Insurance Claims such as Workers Compensation or other Bodily Injury types of Claims.
Responsibilities Include
Utilize your Legal & Compliance experience to help develop process, workflow and automation models (train the model)
Analyze related medical reports and legal documents to make informed decisions
Work closely with Product on ideas for updates and implementations
Be a SME internally for all things related to Legal and Compliance
Work to continuously improve process, rules and workflows
Keep the company informed about new laws, regulations, etc.
Ensure legal and regulatory requirements are met
Collaborate with other areas of the company and work special projects as needed
Qualifications Include
Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
Minimum of 2 years of experience (Legal, Compliance related to Medical)
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Technology savvy able to adapt to new technologies and processes
Experience with projects, automation, rules writing, process, workflow
Strong knowledge of Workers Comp laws and regulations
Experience with Medical Reviews, Bodily Injury Claims
Legal assistant, para legals, recent law student graduates all welcome
These are full-time, permanent positions offering salary plus excellent benefits, PTO and matching 401k. These positions can be remote (but only EST or CST location will work)
