Litigation Counsel

The NorthStar Group is seeking an experienced Litigation Counsel, for a temp to perm, fully remote position:

• applicants must have at least 3-4 years of experience working at a law firm or in-house at a corporation

• applicants must have significant experience litigating copyright and trademark claims in federal courts, including litigation management, coordinating written and e-discovery, drafting briefs and pleadings, and trial advocacy.

• Contract/transactional drafting and negotiation experience related to entertainment, media, and/or intellectual property is a plus

• Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills

• Excellent organizational skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and balance and prioritize multiple assignments

• Must exhibit excellent attention to detail

• Greater New York City-area located and New York State/SDNY bar admission is a plus, but not required
