Logistics Operations Coordinator

Leading wholesaler and distributor of petroleum products has an immediate need for a full-time detail oriented logistics/dispatch/operations specialist to join our team.

This role has a variable schedule including morning and afternoon shifts Monday through Friday. Additionally, this role requires occasional availability to be on-call to respond to carrier/customer inquiries overnight/on the weekends.

We are looking for an organized and dedicated person with an upbeat and positive attitude who is a quick learner, and can multitask in a very fast paced environment. Attention to detail and accuracy is a must. The ideal candidate is a proactive, self-starting individual who will take the initiative to ensure staff meets all deadlines, provides superior customer service and is consistently focused on process improvements and efficiency. Main duties would include:

• Daily order processing, scheduling, and logistics
• Staying in constant contact with customers and transportation subcontractors to ensure delivery efficiency
• Assist Logistics Supervisor with any additional tasks
• Market analysis
• Managing and coordinating with over 100 subcontractors

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, and Outlook) and experience in a fast paced, high-volume environment is a plus. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established company with a casual yet professional environment.

Salary is DOE. Looking for full-time candidates but may consider part-time employment.
