Job Overview

We are in search of a Logistics Operations Manager with strong international logistics operation background to join our newly setup US office in Los Angeles. The person will be responsible for comprehensive operational management of logistics across the North America region. The person will lead and coordinate third-party supplier management, last-mile logistics delivery, and optimize B2B and B2C logistics operations. This role will also participate in managing and executing local logistics warehouse and distribution operations in North America, with a strategic mindset in logistics planning and operations management.


What You Will Achieve

  • Manage and optimize logistics operations in North America to ensure efficient and smooth supply chain operations.
  • Responsible for selecting, evaluating, and managing third-party suppliers (3PLs) to ensure their service quality meets company standards, including contract negotiation and execution of service level agreements.
  • Manage and optimize last-mile logistics delivery to ensure timely fulfillment of customer requirements and cost control.
  • Supervise and coordinate B2B and B2C operational activities, including order processing, inventory management, and distribution.
  • Utilize data analysis skills to deeply analyze operational data, identify issues and opportunities, and propose improvement recommendations and solutions.
  • Ensure efficient management of logistics warehouse and distribution operations, including facility management, personnel management, and operational cost control.
  • Develop and execute logistics planning strategies to support the company's long-term development goals.
  • Coordinate cross-departmental collaboration to ensure smooth alignment of logistics activities with other departments.
  • Lead and develop team members to enhance team performance and professional capabilities.


What You Will Need

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in logistics operations management in North America, with experience in B2B and B2C operations management.
  • Proficient in using data analysis tools and technologies to extract valuable insights from big data.
  • Experience in managing local logistics warehouse and distribution operations in North America.
  • Experience in logistics cost analysis and management to effectively control and optimize costs.
  • Experience in coordinating cross-border logistics, international trade, and air-sea logistics management.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills to effectively manage complex relationships and processes within the supply chain.
  • Strategic thinking and execution capabilities to develop and implement logistics planning and optimization solutions.
  • Strong team leadership and team-building skills to motivate team members to achieve common goals.
  • Experience in logistics within the retail industry is preferred.
