Maintenance Technician
Summary
JOB SUMMARY:
The Maintenance Technician (MTT) Performs all duties necessary, under the general direction of the Maintenance Team Leader (MTL) to maintain the assigned manufacturing production equipment to include set up, changeover, preventive maintenance, intermediate mechanical, and minor electrical breakdown maintenance, and assist in the development of new products and processes.

The essential duties and responsibilities listed below are not all encompassing and are representative of those required on the job. A Maintenance Technician:
- Unfailing safety attitude and adherence.
- Basic ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical schematics.
- Ability to troubleshoot intermediate mechanical issues.
- Ability to troubleshoot minor electrical issues.
- Firm grasp of the proper use of all hand and shop tools.
- Ability to navigate all HMI’s and begin changing machine set points.
- Basic understanding of an electrical multi meter.
- Can perform all line and product changeovers in assigned building.
- Can bring all lines back to a run ready state I assigned building.
- Leads other junior technicians with line changeovers.
- Mentors and guides all set-up and apprentice technicians.
- Can complete assigned equipment PM’s on time without assistance.
- Can plan and execute minor line improvements and modifications.
- Understands that all downtime in excess of 15 minutes must be escalated to MTL.
- Log-in and complete all assigned SOP’s and compliance trainings in eInfotree.
- Perform any other tasks as assigned by maintenance leadership.
- HS Diploma or equivalent education required.
- Some vocational or technical certifications preferred.
- 1-2 years manufacturing experience.
- 1-2 years multi-craft maintenance experience.
- Must have experience and understanding of mechanical and electrical applications
- Ability to listen and learn from more seasoned technicians.
- Ability to perform in a team environment.
- Open minded.
- Ability to properly escalate DT and other issues.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, rotating shifts and both scheduled and unscheduled overtime.
