Responsible for assisting the Maintenance Department with set-ups, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and as other departmental needs arise. An individual in this position will report to the Maintenance Manager.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Qualified candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. In addition, qualified candidates will have one to two years of similar work experience.
Work Schedule:
Monday - Thursday
10 hour shift

Responsible for assisting the Maintenance Department with set-ups, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and as other departmental needs arise. An individual in this position will report to the Maintenance Manager.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct and assist with set-ups by following the production guidelines and times, machine set-up procedures, and the job process sheet.
- Provide quick, thorough assistance in solving machine issues/problems.
- Notify the Maintenance Manager, immediately, of any machine malfunctions, worn parts, or operations that look out of the ordinary and could cause a safety hazard.
- Follow a preventative maintenance schedule for all equipment: daily, weekly, and monthly.
- Maintain compressors/air dryer systems. Ensure checks are completed daily and done thoroughly.
- Replace broken or worn parts on the machines at such times that do not interfere with the production schedule or cause delays in production.
- Follow and enforce OSHA/safety compliance at all times.
- Help to maintain the cleanliness of the maintenance cage, maintenance tables, and Company property.
- Meet daily with the Maintenance Manager and the Facility Manager to discuss plant maintenance issues and projects.
- Update job process sheets as things become outdated or a new process is in place.
- Complete other tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Manager or Facility Manager.
- Ability to use all common hand tools.
- Be thorough and complete with your work.
- Must be able to work from a prioritized task list and must be flexible for possible changes.
- Must have excellent time management skills.
- Must perform duties with little or no instructions. Must be a self-starter.
- Must be able to solve problems that arise without supervision.
- Must be able to follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to provide suggestions for operational improvement.
