Day-to-day:

Insight Global is seeking a Major Gifts Office for a non-profit client of ours. Our client is a state-based think tank with a top-notch team of policy analysts and communication experts that transform free-market ideas into public policies, so all Pennsylvanians can flourish. They are focused on their core values of integrity, treating everyone with dignity, and pursuing productive solutions to problems. This role has the ability to sit fully remote in the state of Pennsylvania or in close proximity to Pennsylvania but out of state and will require at least 50% travel throughout the year.


In this role we are looking for someone who will independently manage a portfolio of current and prospective donors and be responsible for providing them with an exceptional philanthropic experience. You will manage the donor lifecycle for 100-150 individuals and foundations which includes identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship. The ideal candidate will be adept at forming relationships quickly and stay exceptionally organized given different donor preferences. Your success will be measured on how well you grow relationships and offer donors an exceptional philanthropic experience.


Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Manage and steward a portfolio of 100-150 donors and prospects who give via annual gifts and planned gifts
  • Collaborate with the development team to build an annual fundraising plan for your portfolio, set revenue goals, and execute strategies to reach them
  • Manage relationships with prospective and existing donors in all aspects of the donor lifecycle:


  1. Identifying major donors and initiating contact
  2. Developing appropriate cultivation strategies
  3. Moving potential donors toward solicitation and closure
  4. Conducting stewardship that creates an exceptional philanthropic experience
  5. Deliver regular donor meeting reports and ensure that the database is updated with all donor communications



Compensation:

$100,000 to $130,000 per year annual salary; Up to a 20% bonus based on company and personal performance.


Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
