Manager, Accounts Payable
As a Manager, Accounts Payable, you will report to the Director, Accounting Operations. You will oversee the Accounts Payable department and work with teams across the organization to manage the full cycle accounts payable process.

Responsibilities
- Own the full cycle AP process including bills, approvals, expenses, credit card programs, and payments
- Lead the Accounts Payable team; lead team development, operational excellence, and communication
- Review AP team deliverables and ensure accuracy, including coding, bills, and expenses
- Manage the payment cycle and coordinate payment release
- Proactively manage accrual process to ensure completeness
- Manage reconciliations between AP systems
- Manage relationships with external vendors, establish new credit, and escalate issues to Accounting leadership
- Manage year end 1099 process for timely and accurate submission
- Look for ways to improve AP efficiency and processes
- Ensure Accounts Payable compliance with GAAP principles
- Lead recruiting efforts for Accounts Payable team; onboard and train new team members
- Experience managing an accounts payable team in a private company
- Knowledge of common accounts payable processes
- Ability to manipulate large data sets
- Expert Excel skills (e.g. VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, Pivot tables, CONCATENATE, LEFT/RIGHT/MID, INDEX/MATCH, Text to Columns, etc.)
- AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification (required within 1 year of hire)
