General Description

Our Benefits Program Manager is key to navigating our benefit offerings to reach people where they are and when they need it most. With a collaborative spirit, working with various cross functional teams and regions, integrating our benefits within the core of our culture. Although, this role will have a primary focus on US and Canada, many of our benefit programs reach 30+ countries for which the role will take on an innovative and energetic approach in extending our reach for inclusivity and wellbeing.

Essential Functions Of The Job

Lead strategies of wellness initiatives globally and be integral in managing the health and welfare, voluntary, retirement, leave of absence, and worker’s compensation programs in North America.

  • Wellness Programs: Design, develop and implement a contemporary wellness initiatives.
  • Vendor Partnership: Collaborate with benefit program vendors to maximize program offerings globally. Further, in the US and Canada, collaborate with insurers and retirement plan administrators for service delivery effectiveness.
  • Process Improvement: Through interactions, deep dive analysis and understanding, identifying program utilization and market trends, provide recommendations for efficiencies and capitalization.
  • Employee Education: Work closely with communications partner to maintain and circulate cutting-edge impactful communication materials on global and local levels. Engage with ERGs, management, greater HR team and other cross-functional teams to integrate benefit offerings within other company initiatives.
  • Benefits Administration: manage life cycle of US and Canada employee enrollments (new hire, life events, terminations) including process maintenance and activities in benefit administration portal, HRIS portal, file feeds to carriers, carrier systems, audits, system updates and invoicing. Collaborate with Finance on monthly cost allocation and with Payroll on benefit related payment processing.
  • Compliance and Regulations: Manage compliance calendar alongside with broker to capture all applicable policy and legal benefit compliance changes and requirements, including, but not limited to the ACA, IRS, DOL, FMLA, and other state, federal, and local laws, as applicable.

Computer Skills

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Strong working knowledge of virtual collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams
  • Social Media- Proficiency in using social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn or YouTube. Experience in creating and implementing social media strategies to increase brand awareness.
  • Knowledge and experience working with HRIS systems such as ADP Workforce Now and Workday

Other Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in the benefits/wellness space
  • Analytical, detailed-oriented, team-focused, resourceful, creative and possess strong interpersonal skills.
  • Prior experience working in organizations that are: fast-past, high-growth, tech/biotech (strong plus)

Education Required

Bachelor’s Degree/Equivalent Work Experience

Travel

Light travel as needed to other BeiGene office locations at time of open enrollment or other benefit related initiatives.

Salary Range: $108,200.00 - $148,200.00 annually

BeiGene is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Actual compensation packages are determined by several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, certifications, relevant education or training, and specific work location. Packages may vary by location due to differences in the cost of labor. The recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for a preferred location during the hiring process. Please note that the listed range reflects the base salary or hourly range only. Non-Commercial roles are eligible to participate in the annual bonus plan, and Commercial roles are eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.
