POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a motivated and results oriented leader who has proven success in a fast-paced environment. This position is responsible for daily operational oversight of the Contract Administration workstream; directing teammates to ensure processes are being completed as expected and team is achieving functional objectives.


This leader will serve as the “owner” of all payor contracts and will be responsible for ensuring contract provisions, fee schedule changes, and payor communications are interpreted, documented, and implications shared with key stakeholders. This leader will support contracting functions including, but not limited to: resolution of payor issues, contract portfolio assessment and management, contract (re)negotiations, contract implementation and metrics monitoring.


In addition to managerial duties, this position will be responsible for intermittently leading and/or supporting the execution of strategic initiatives and special projects.


POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the Contract Administration Workstream to achieve functional objectives
  • Ensure effective contract management for all radiology practices
  • Define and enhance metrics and establish effective controls
  • Effectively anticipate, identify, and resolve roadblocks and process inefficiencies
  • Deepen team expertise of government, managed care and commercial payors and contracts; performing market, payor, and legislative research as needed
  • Serve as a first point of contact for Radiology Partners leaders regarding payor contracting
  • Collaborate cross functionally, cultivating strong working relationships with clients and payors
  • Complete teammate employment activity such as hiring, promoting, timekeeping, job performance evaluations including Performance Reviews and disciplinary action as required


DESIRED TECHNICAL AND PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 2+ years of healthcare revenue cycle or legal experience with working knowledge of medical billing and reimbursement practice - direct payor contracting experience preferred
  • Strong coaching and teammate development skills with at least 2 years of leadership experience preferred
  • Effective communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
  • Strong critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • B.A. or B.S. in Business Administration or related field or 4 years of related experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

The salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $85,000.00. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
