POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Manager with an outstanding track record in team management and machine control systems. This role involves leading a dynamic team of up to six control engineers who are dedicated to designing and commissioning innovative parcel handling solutions. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment, ensuring our projects align with our rigorous standards for quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and manage a skilled team of control engineers in the development of custom parcel handling equipment.
Ensure flawless project execution from concept through completion, maintaining strict adherence to timelines and architectural standards.
Excel in system design and development, with a strong emphasis on practical application and operational functionality.
Coordinate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to guarantee that all solutions robustly address the end-user’s needs.
QUALIFICATIONS
MINIMUM:
- 15 years in electrical controls development.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Rockwell and other PLC controls design and development.
- 5 years of direct involvement in large-scale control systems projects, covering full lifecycle processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively engaging with both technical team members and non-technical stakeholders.
- Comprehensive knowledge of control safety standards applicable in both the US and international contexts.
PREFERRED:
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex systems issues encompassing both mechanical and electrical components.
- Experience in parcel handling or conveying applications.
- Proficiency in motion control and servo motor control systems.
- Familiarity with prevalent machine control protocols and communication strategies.
