Title: Manager of Financial Reporting

Overview:

Hixen Search Group is assisting a large growing company in their search for a Manager of Financial Reporting. The company is growing rapidly and adding talented accounting and finance professionals to their team. This role will focus in financial reporting and analysis, internal controls, and process improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Gather information and assist with the preparation of SEC external financial statements
• Consolidations and roll-ups of company entities
• Partner with other business units to produce consolidated financial statements
• Conduct necessary accounting research to ensure the proper presentation of financial information
• Interact daily with executives and other leaders, providing support on interesting and challenging projects
• Ad hoc projects and financial analysis

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s in Accounting is a must
• 5+ years of accounting experience preferable in public accounting and/or large company corporate accounting position
• CPA or progress towards
• Strong analytical skills and experience with Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communicator – ability to communicate with various levels of employees
