Overview
Purpose Statement/Position Summary: The Manager, Radiology Research will manage the clinical research and infrastructure of the Radiology Department to include Small Animal Imaging Core (SAIC), Human Imaging Core (HIC), and Translational Biological Imaging Laboratory (TBIL), Radiology Principal Investigators. Provide oversight of research staff and assist faculty and fellows with administrative aspects of research, including the submission of grant applications and the development of industry research. Through training and audits, the Manager, Radiology Research will ensure that studies comply with all applicable state, Federal, and CHLA regulations. The Manager, Radiology Research will provide financial oversight for all department research activities and will report annually to Radiology and CHLA leadership.
Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience: 5+ years’ experience working in a similar capacity on a multi-site healthcare project, including coordination and budget development or equivalent combination of education and experience. Supervisory experience preferred.
Education/Licensure/Certification: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or scientific field with 5+ years’ experience. MPH, MBA, MPA, in a relevant field (e.g., healthcare administration, public policy) is preferred.
Pay Scale Information
$89,440.00-$160,992.00

Final determination of a successful candidate’s starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
