Position: Manager, Risk Management
Location: New York, NY (Remote work from anywhere in the U.S. permitted)
Job Description
As a Manager of Risk Management, you will play a pivotal role in executing and overseeing projects aimed at maximizing risk mitigation and claim subrogation. Your responsibilities will include:
Designing, maintaining, and enhancing systems utilized by the risk mitigation team.
Leading a team of Risk Management Analysts to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking customers and business partners.
Recruitment, training, and supervision of Risk Management Analysts to ensure the smooth daily operations of the risk management team.
Providing ad hoc reporting to management, other departments, and clients.
Managing vendors through risk assessments, contract negotiations, and onboarding processes.
Developing risk management strategies for new products and refining existing strategies.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Business Administration, Risk Analytics, Data Analysis, Risk Management, or a related field, plus one (1) year of experience in a similar role.
Proficiency in PowerBI, Excel (including pivot tables, formulas, and data visualization), Confluence, and Jira.
Experience with HubSpot for stage/property design, workflow builds, reporting, and email templates.
Strong understanding of operational and third-party vendor risk management.
In-depth knowledge of insurance products, underwriting principles, claims handling processes, and regulatory requirements.
Fluency in Mandarin is required.

Base Salary
The base salary range for this position is between $152,506-$167,000 annually. Final compensation will be determined by various factors including experience, expertise, location, and market data.
