Managing Director - Data & Analytics

Our client, a top technology consulting firm, is seeking a Managing Director of Data & Analytics to lead and expand their data services. This role is crucial for overseeing project delivery and enhancing client relationships through innovative data solutions.

Role Summary: The Managing Director of Data & Analytics will provide leadership in managing complex data projects, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction, and overseeing the strategic growth of the firm’s data capabilities. Candidates should have deep expertise in either Microsoft Azure or AWS technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Delivery Oversight: Ensure the successful delivery of data and analytics projects, maintaining high standards for quality and client satisfaction.
• Client Engagement and Satisfaction: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, understanding their needs and ensuring the firm meets their expectations with every project.
• Strategic Account Management: Manage key client accounts, forecast business needs, and develop strategies for client retention and expansion.
• Technology Expertise: Utilize expertise in either Microsoft Azure or AWS to architect and implement effective data solutions tailored to client needs.
• Team Leadership: Lead a team of data professionals, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
• Business Development: Leverage expertise in data and analytics to identify opportunities for new business and cross-selling within existing accounts.
• Partnership Development: Build and maintain relationships with technology vendors and partners to enhance the firm's offerings and stay ahead of market trends.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Significant experience in data technologies, specializing in either Microsoft Azure or AWS.
• Minimum of 15 years’ total experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing data & analytics projects.
• Strong understanding of the consulting environment, with a track record of delivering projects that meet or exceed client expectations.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage senior-level client relationships and large teams.
• Strategic thinker with a proven ability to develop client accounts and manage business growth.
