Responsibilities
- Learn the day-to-day operations of managing a Carter Lumber manufacturing facility.
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of Carter Lumber’s Manufacturing process and associated systems.
- Exposure to daily, weekly, and monthly reporting and understand how they apply to the business
- Observe and assist in developing action plans that address areas for improvement in both process & profitability
- Dedication to learning new concepts
- Leadership skills
- Prioritize and organize daily workload
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with associates at all levels within the organization
- Overnight and/or extended weekly travel will be required
