Our client is a privately-owned manufacturer of medical device products. They currently have just over 400 employees and 2 facilities that allow them to service the entire continental United States. Revenue has continued to grow each year for the last 5 years by 10+% and has lead increase bonus payouts for their employees and opportunity to expand operations & opportunities for advancement.
Job Description
Lead projects to optimize existing manufacturing processes - Kaizens, 5S, SMED etc
Lead team of Manufacturing Engineers, including evaluation of performance, technical support, hiring, and professional development
Spearhead capital expenditure projects
Identify areas to implement automation where possible, and oversee implementation
Play role in New Product Development, supporting NPD team and allocating plant resources to support NPD efforts
Stay up to date on current trends in manufacturing to identify areas to improve procedures
Identify opportunities for capital expenditures, including cost justification

The Successful Applicant
Bachelors degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Electrical Engineering or related field
10+ years' experience minimum in an industrial manufacturing setting
5+ years' minimum experience in a managerial capacity in a regulated industry
Track record driving LEAN/CI initiatives with demonstrated results
Experience in metal fabrication desired
Proficiency in AutoCAD/other 3D modeling software
Experience leading CapEx projects
Excellent written, verbal, & interpersonal skills
What's on Offer
Base salary $125,000 - $150,000 depending on level of experience
15% bonus target based on blend of personal/departmental targets
3 weeks PTO + 1 week personal time
