Base pay range

$100,000.00/yr - $135,000.00/yr
Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all manufacturing processes, including planning, scheduling, material flow, work-in-process, finished goods, packaging, and inventory control.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor policies and procedures to ensure efficient and timely product shipment in compliance with production schedules.
  • Ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures across all manufacturing facilities.
  • Conduct weekly production review meetings to meet on-time delivery demands.
  • Adjust production schedules as necessary to reflect changes in priorities.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise employees.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and senior management to establish annual business forecasts.
  • Communicate with management and vendors to ensure proper operations.
  • Enhance organizational processes and procedures using lean manufacturing principles.
  • Ensure operational activities are on time and within budget.
  • Promote a culture of top performance and high morale.
  • Motivate employees with a clear vision of company objectives.
  • Lead team development through performance improvement, career planning, training, and skills development.
  • Ensure OSHA compliance and implement safety regulations.
  • Develop and execute a skills matrix and apprentice training program.
  • Promote continuous improvement and cost savings initiatives.
  • Analyze and report on key performance indicators, conduct root cause analyses, and implement action items.
  • Manage scheduling, purchasing, inventory control, manufacturing, logistics, and maintenance functions.
  • Work with the Quality department to resolve non-conforming material issues.
  • Ensure regulatory and legal compliance.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in operations management, business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of manufacturing operational leadership experience.
  • Experience in a LEAN manufacturing environment with demonstrated success in continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of metal stamping, machining, and manufacturing equipment is a plus.
  • Proficiency in overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) and KANBAN principles.
  • Strong skills in scheduling, purchasing, inventory control, manufacturing, logistics, and maintenance.
  • Expertise in conflict management and business negotiation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn new applications.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (Syteline a plus).
  • Resilient and flexible, able to multitask and prioritize.
  • Positive influencer with the ability to motivate others.
