Lafayette Imports is a family-owned spirits importer based in the New York Area. It is owned by Biggar and Leith, LLC. Lafayette Imports imports, distributes, and markets a diverse portfolio of brands across all 50 states of the USA. These brands include Powers Irish Whiskey and Shanky’s Whip Black Irish Whiskey Liqueur.

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Market Manager based in Minnesota. The Market Manager will be responsible for growing Shanky's Whip and Powers Irish Whiskey in the Minnesota market through -

• Calling on On and Off Premise accounts introducing Shanky's Whip and Power's Irish Whiskey to proprietors.
• Running On and Off-Premise consumer promotions, tastings and events -introducing people to these two incredible brands.
• Merchandising in bars, restaurants and liquor stores.
• Working with the local distributors sales teams to grow distribution of the brands in the market.
• The candidate will be supplied with a branded vehicle.

Qualifications

• Experience in the spirits industry and a strong knowledge of the market
• Proven track record in marketing and brand management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Experience working with distributors and retailers
• Knowledge of importation and distribution processes
