Job Description: The Global Industry Events Program Manager contractor is responsible for the planning, support, and execution of Oracle's Tier 1 third-party and proprietary events within the Global Industry Events portfolio, which represents the most complex, highest-investment industry events for the company. The role will be the project lead on multiple events simultaneously, and will meet with Product Marketing, Field Marketing, Product Development, Field Sales, and other internal stakeholders to evaluate event objectives and then execute on all aspects of the event lifecycle, including pre-event planning, day-of event support and post-event follow-up. This position will have a vested interest in more than simply planning an event, but in embracing the latest best practices and tools to build meaningful customer engagement. The individual hired for this role with bring a history of successful, end-to-end event delivery, as well as an understanding of the systems and processes necessary to execute a world-class experience.
