Marketing Coordinator

Circular Genomics (CG) is a venture-backed biotechnology startup for the development of genomic-based medical diagnostics. Circular Genomics uses novel circular RNA molecules as novel and improved biomarkers to diagnose and treat psychiatric conditions. This new diagnostic technology will facilitate precision medicine for individuals suffering from depression and other psychiatric or neurological disorders.  

Circular Genomics seeks a Marketing Coordinator to join a rapidly growing team. This position will be heavily involved in supporting the brand and communications. You will support our marketing efforts with project and program management and execution as well as data analysis. This position partners closely with various teams and vendors on key projects including preparing marketing documents, managing online tools/portals and supporting marketing events. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, proficiency in office-based applications, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. 

Responsibilities

• Contribute to marketing plans/programs to meet business objectives, including coordinating with internal stakeholders.  
• Draft, edit, and schedule select marketing communications for a variety of channels (i.e., web, print, email, online). Responsibilities to include graphic design and copy writing/editing for most social media tactics and modest projects, including test requisition forms and patient reports. 
• Responsible for email (digital) marketing program management and execution, including segmentation, testing, and deployment, and continually evaluate these for improvements. 
• Monitor, track and report marketing program effectiveness.  
• Review and report post-event/program/campaign data.  
• Assist in quality control of data and marketing materials.  
• Develop executive-facing PowerPoint presentations 
• Support and manage the planning and execution of events.  
• Support the creation and launch of tools and processes to improve marketing efforts.  
• Contribute to vendor selection, arrangements, and scheduling.  
• Coordinate vendor estimates and invoice processing.  
• Contribute to regular brand trainings, webinars and toolkit resources for internal and external audiences.  
• Support with website subpages and social media account management  
• Manage projects as needed. Other duties as assigned.  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required. 
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant marketing experience, preferably in a clinical laboratory setting or in a life sciences or biotechnology company. 
• Experience working in a fast-paced startup, preferably in biotech, preferred 
• Strong oral and written communication skills.  
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook. 
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Canva, and/or other graphic design software 
• Demonstrable experience handling website management platforms such as Wix and/or Wordpress. 
• Demonstrable experience in managing marketing automation software such as HubSpot, Marketo or others. 
• Highly organized and creative.  
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.  
• Ability to work independently to meet expected deadlines and schedules.  
• Demonstrated team player.
