The M+ Marketing Director position offers a unique opportunity to work directly with Madan+Associates (M+) as well as our marketing brand, Don’t Tax Me Bro (DTMB). We seek a visionary Marketing Director (MD) to lead our marketing efforts with a strong focus on brand building, sales enablement, social media strategy, and engagement. The executive will have decision-making authority and autonomy to steer the M+ Brand strategically.

M+ is a niche financial services business that works to cultivate and implement innovative planning solutions for high-net-worth clients and their advisors. M+'s three core focus areas for M+ are leveraged insurance, a virtual family office offering, and assets under management. We offer a B2C model as well as a B2B2C model. By partnering with the client’s financial advisor, we provide support and guidance and deliver a gateway to solutions through exclusive industry relationships and venerable insight. In doing so, we go the extra mile by tailoring our strategy around a holistic picture to elevate the client’s financial performance.
About DTMB
DTMB was formed by the founders of M+ and Shepherd Wealth Group out of a need for better advisor and client education around tax strategies. In its initial phase, DTMB is a content aggregator that includes ideas and contributions from M+ and SWG. As the brand progresses, the goal is to drive engagement via original collaborated content from other like-minded professionals.
Duties + Responsibilities
The Marketing Director will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic marketing vision that enhances brand visibility, drives client engagement, and supports our growth objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of brand building, creative development, social media mediums, and exceptional leadership and communication skills. The MD should be able to hire and manage vendors to effectuate the vision as needed.
Executive Leadership: Collaborates closely with the executive team to formulate organizational strategies.
Brand Activation: Develop and implement a strategic marketing vision that aligns, develops, and unifies both brands’ goals, emphasizing social media channels for brand awareness and customer engagement. Develop brand avatar.
Copywriting + Content Development: Write clear, persuasive, and original copy and oversee the creation of compelling and relevant content for various marketing mediums, including decks, scripts, websites, blogs, socials, email campaigns, etc.
Event + Speaking Strategy Development: Design and implement a comprehensive event marketing strategy focusing on speaking engagements, client and broker appreciation, and brand awareness.
Project Management: Oversee all aspects of event and content planning and execution, including logistics, vendor management, budgeting, and post-event analysis.
Vendor Management: Oversee outside vendors' activities related to marketing (website, social media managers, videographers, editors, etc.), from statement of work to maintenance.
Influencer and Partnership Oversight: Assist with managing influencers + partners to ensure they align with brand values and goals across various platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.)
Analytics and Reporting: Utilize data analytics tools to monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of social media initiatives, providing actionable insights to optimize campaigns.
Market Research: Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activities, leveraging insights to inform strategy and maintain a competitive edge.
Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources towards social media initiatives.
Qualifications + Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in marketing, with a significant focus on brand-building + social strategy and execution.
- Proven track record of developing content creation that enables the sales team to better engage clients.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience in building high-performing teams.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with social media management tools, analytics platforms, and CRM software.

Benefits + Compensation
- Medical, dental, vision and 401(k) are available immediately, match and pension upon eligibility.
- Paid vacation and sick/personal time are flexible (use with consideration)
- Full-time, fully remote; in-person expectations are limited but generally mandatory.
- $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year (based on experience) + bonuses
