Our client is a large technology company based in the Greater Seattle Area.


MARKETING MANAGER 2

Role Summary:

We are seeking a marketing specialist who will drive WW marketing management from beginning to end for an account team that manages two large and strategic hardware partners. This role will also support the marketing account team's projects and activities. This person will report to the WW Marketing Ops Manager and will interact with the client's corporate marketing and programs teams as well as the partners' marketing teams.


Marketing Account Team Support

The marketing specialist will drive the planning, organization, and execution of events for an account team that manages two large hardware partners. This includes client led, OEM partner led and industry events. This role will also support marketing projects and activities that are critical for our partner's success. This person will report to the WW Marketing Operations manager on the partner account team. This role will not only interact with the WW account team but will also interface with the client and partners’ marketing teams, corporate events, and communications teams.

Event Planning & Management

  • Build and maintain worldwide marketing event calendars.
  • Plan for overall partner event sponsorship, client participation and attendance.
  • Lead the account team and partner focals to understand potential event participation opportunities.
  • Create and own planning ROB prior to all events, and own execution of workback schedules.
  • Logistics management for all events.
  • Track a significant amount of action items including working with creative logo approvals, briefing schedules, and all items leading up to event.

Marketing Projects & Activities

  • Provide support for various workstreams and special initiatives by managing project milestones, anticipating implementation issues, and proactively driving solution options.
  • Communicate program status updates as appropriate across workstreams and activities.
  • Provide ad hoc support for marketing activities as needed including, but not limited to, reporting and analysis.

Stakeholder Management

  • Establish and maintain relationships with 15-20 stakeholders within the partnering philanthropy, diversity and inclusion, commercial marketing, education, and field sales community.
  • Schedule and conduct internal and external tracking and update calls with stakeholders.


YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Years of Experience: 3-5 overall years of experience in the field.

Qualifications:

  • Marketing experience AND corporate marketing event planning & execution experience
  • Equally important are ability in communication AND project management
  • Detail oriented
  • Executive presence in dealing with difficult people and or unresponsive dependencies.

Degree/Certs: None required.

Disqualifiers: Candidates who have not worked in large scale marketing executions primarily with large corporations. (i.e. local business marketing planning).

Best: The ideal resume would contain:

  • Candidate has previously worked on multimillion dollar marketing planning projects.
  • Previously worked within marketing at a large corporation.
  • Including a portfolio that showcases their work is nice to have.


WORK ENVIRONMENT

Duration: 10/1/2024 - 3/31/2025, and chance to extend.

Location: Remote, preference for PST hours.

Daily Schedule: M-F, 40 hours a week, no OT anticipated.


Role Requirements: Client requires a background check before start.
