Duties:

Project management responsibilities include the coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope. Oversee all aspects of projects. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitor and summarize progress of project. Prepare reports for upper management regarding status of project.

Required:

  • 3+ years project leadership experience preferably in consumer or financial services
  • 3+ years of experience working with various marketing technologies that may include marketing automation tools (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo or similar), content management systems, customer data platforms, social media and email marketing as well as custom web applications. Must understand how these systems can work together to deliver personalized experiences.
  • Bachelor's degree is required or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to build project plans, assign tasks and hold team members accountable to delivering on time.
  • Experience leading multiple projects simultaneously, with a high degree of risk, visibility and urgency within a functional area or at times spanning multiple areas or divisions.
  • Ability to independently identify, prioritize, monitor, communicate and/or resolve elements that can impact a project.
  • Must be comfortable leading discussions between business areas and technical experts to determine project needs. Ability to convey technical concepts in an understandable manner appropriate to the audience.
  • Ability to take a consultative approach, building relationships and asking questions to identify core needs that inform recommendations.
  • Understanding of Agile and product management principles and how those can be applied to address understanding of the work and prioritization.
  • Demonstrated presentation, interpersonal and communication skills; effectively communicates with project team, other project leaders, multiple areas and outside vendors. Incorporates effective listening and collaboration skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills that demonstrates thought leadership and influence.
  • Superior organization and coordination skills.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Partner with business leaders, product owners, technology, sourcing and vendors to assist with defining technology gaps that impede our ability to achieve business objectives
  • Gather requirements from cross-functional teams to clarify desired needs with new solutions.
  • Facilitate process to evaluate potential vendors for fit. Includes initial vendor research, vendor recommendations, execute pilot programs, and determine how to operationalize new solutions
  • Engage closely with our digital product organization throughout the process, from initial identification of a technology need through implementation.
  • Establish and maintain effective communications and relationships across multiple areas, divisions and vendors. Delivers clear and concise, strategic communications and status updates, ensuring a solid understanding of objectives and measures of success.
  • Use metrics and controls to measure progress, take preventative and corrective action and escalate issues and risks when necessary.
  • Remove roadblocks for the teams regarding processes, tools and responsibilities as well as driving accountability challenges.
  • Assist with managing vendor relationships.
  • Funding management including budget planning, management and tracking.
  • Establish and manage appropriate project change management process/mechanism to scope, schedule and costs for non-technical work. Provides clear direction and articulates benefits to optimize team and individual buy-in/adoption when implementing change.
