Interface is looking for a global marketing project manager to lead and manage key marketing projects for Interface's three brands: interface, nora & FLOR. As a Marketing Project Manager at Interface you will do more than just manage schedules. You will be responsible for ensuring marketing project process from beginning to end is efficiently executed with positive results. To achieve this you will collaborate with diverse team members around the globe - Creative traffic managers, brand managers, digital marketing managers, comms/pr managers, regional marketing teams, and product design/development teams. This Marketing Project Manager role demands strategic planning, adept coordination, and effective leadership in steering marketing campaigns to success across Interface's diverse brands. We are looking for a person with a unique blend of interpersonal skill and communication acumen, an ability to multitask while retaining attention to detail, and a strong strategic and organizational sense to ensure overlapping timelines and requirements do not hinder progress.


Educational requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or Communications
  • Will accept a minimum of 10 years of relevant job experience in lieu of a degree
  • Project Management or Creative Traffic certification is advantageous


Experience:

  • 5+ years progressive experience in marketing project management, agency project management, creative traffic management


Skills:

  • Proven skills in goal setting, resource coordination, budget management, and data analysis
  • Adept organizational skills to handle competing priorities and engage with leadership on strategies
  • Ability to see the big picture and incorporate problem solving, critical thinking and tactical execution into their daily work
  • Exceptional multitasking, decision-making and communication abilities
  • Strong ability to multi-task and deliver on deadlines required
  • Excellent analytical skills required
  • Strong written and oral communication skills required
  • Self-starter with proactive and conscientious approach to work required
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and to collaborate with internal and external resources required
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint required
  • Knowledge of layout, design and print production required
  • Familiarity with Hive or similar project management systems preferred
  • Familiarity with flooring or related industries is a plus


Essential Duties:

  • Work closely with the brand managers, creative traffic managers, product teams, regional marketing teams to plan & execute key strategic marketing initiatives & projects
  • Serve as a liaison between the different disciplines within Marketing as well as outside departments and vendors to ensure streamlined communications with stakeholders and efficient executions of tasks and projects all while being accountable to both timelines and budget
  • Execute a communication process that keeps all relevant stakeholders informed; including resolving and escalating issues and obstacles and ensures all project goals and timelines are clearly communicated and understood by all relevant stakeholders
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between teams
  • Monitor project timelines to ensure timely completion of product design phases and handovers to the creative and marketing teams.
  • Proactively identify potential delays and implement solutions to keep projects on track
  • Lead all project management efforts around global and regional product launches from briefing to activation and all key steps in between
  • Create and maintain all project timelines with key milestones, due dates, task prioritization
  • Provide insight & guidance on how to complete tasks more efficiently and effectively, always driving for more efficient and streamlined approaches to completing projects
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with external vendors
  • Lead multiple work streams and/or project teams to execute against project plans
  • Integrate, synthesize and maintain project/program documentation from multiple teams
  • Facilitate relationships between teams, moving programs forward, finding resources, raising concerns to appropriate owners early and resolving open issues that prevent progress
  • Maintain project status and updates within PM tool, Hive


Physical demands:

  • Use of standard office equipment and computer
  • Frequent work under tight deadlines
  • Occasional travel


Work environment:

  • Open office environment
  • Hybrid work schedule: Minimum 3 days/week in Atlanta office with optional work from home 2 days/week
