Job Overview

The Assistant, Marketing Strategy plays a key role in supporting the development and execution of impactful marketing campaigns across a diverse portfolio of brands. They actively support the creation of marketing plans, research market trends, and contribute to the overall success of campaigns.

What You Will Do

  • Assist the Marketing Strategy team in developing marketing plans across key timeframes, categories, and event types.
  • Support the seasonal and monthly planning process to ensure alignment on product priorities, launch timelines, and event architecture.
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of marketing tactics, including:
    • Collaborating with partners on materials needed for creative style-outs and presentations.
    • Creating and distributing meeting agendas and tracking follow-up action items.
    • Facilitating asset reviews to ensure timely feedback and adherence to briefs.
    • Coordinating requests for marketing tactics and managing media changes.
  • Analyze marketing data and reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (merchandising, content creation, creative, digital/customer teams, etc.) to ensure seamless coordination and communication.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and consumer insights.
Skills You Will Need

Understanding of Consumer Behavior: A strong grasp of consumer behavior with a passion for developing brand messaging and strategies.

Research and Analytical Skills: Ability to conduct thorough research and analyze marketing data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

Organizational and Time Management Skills: Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks, track progress, and ensure timely completion of projects.

Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment and across different departments.

Adaptability and Quick Learning: Eager to learn and able to quickly adapt to new information, trends, and responsibilities.

Collaboration: Ability to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams, including merchandising, content creation, creative, and digital/customer teams, to ensure coordinated and effective marketing efforts.

  • Candidates with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field are encouraged to apply. 1-2 years of experience in marketing or a related field.
  • Regularly required to sit, talk, hear; use hands/fingers to touch, handle, and feel. Occasionally required to move about the workplace and reach with hands and arms. Requires close vision.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule based on department and company needs.
