MECHANICAL-ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN
Solon, OH | M-F 7:00 - 3:30
Job Duties:
Perform bench-type processes to complete mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies per established specifications and procedures
Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when needed
Rework/repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes
Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, electrical schematics, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions
Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and safety procedures
Complete tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision
Collaborate with Engineering and Project Engineering to resolve issues
Required Education & Experience:
Minimum 4 years' in assembling/testing electro-mechanical hardware
Minimum 2 years’ experience with electrical assembly
High School diploma or GED
Competencies and Personal Attributes:
Proficient in mechanical assembly techniques and use of mechanical fasteners
Proficient with electrical assembly and wiring techniques
Attention to detail with ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
Self-motivated and team oriented, with strong interpersonal skills
Proficient with hand tools and power tools
Basic computer navigation
