Job Description
Join our dynamic team in developing and implementing processes for the next generation of nuclear fuel. This exciting role begins in our pre-production development facility where you will engage in developing and proving processes prior to their transition into the production facility. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in a team of Engineers and Technicians, taking responsibility for multiple technical processes and equipment projects. These projects range from manual stations and automated stations to inspection systems and fully integrated manufacturing lines. Your tasks will include everything from understanding product design requirements, designing and building test systems, developing models and drawings, to assembling, installing, and testing processing equipment.

This is a contract position with a duration of 18 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully remote position.
Work Environment
This is a hybrid role, mostly remote, requiring travel to Wilmington about once a month. Travel frequency may increase slightly as equipment development progresses.

- Developing and implementing manufacturing processes
- 3D CAD design using Inventor or SolidWorks
- GD&T (creating and reviewing prints)
- Design and development of tooling and automated processing equipment
- Procedure driven

- Ability to brainstorm and innovate solutions
- Adaptable and capable of seeing the bigger picture
