Role Description

Oncosure Testing is seeking a knowledgeable, experienced, and ambitious Lab Supervisor. This is a full-time on-site role. As a Laboratory Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

• The day-to-day operation of Cytology, DNA extraction, CGX/PGX, and/or QPCR high complexity laboratory techniques, such as pipetting and cell analysis.
• Independently and accurately perform routine and complex molecular testing.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis using various laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Review, record, and release specimen test results from Laboratory Information System (LIS, LIMS)
• Compile and maintain records according to laboratory policies to ensure state and federal regulations are upheld for all reagents, procedures, and equipment used.
• Ensure adherence to CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and other safety and procedures.
• Adhere to the laboratory's quality control procedures, instrument and calibrations, and maintenance procedures.
• Maintain records demonstrating proper handling and reporting of proficiency specimens.
• Execute and adhere to all safety protocols, including the handling of hazardous biological agents and chemicals, potentially hazardous chemicals, hazard clean-up, universal precautions, and infection control procedures.
• Assist in the development, validation, and implementation of new laboratory methods/services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a Life Sciences field (biology, chemistry, medical technology, etc).
• One (1) to Two (2) years of experience in a laboratory setting.
• Proficiency in working with standard & high complexity laboratory equipment & instruments.
• Experience with pipetting and microscopes.
