The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Mid-Level Systems Administrator to join the team in Layton, UT.
In this role, you will support both in classified and unclassified areas as well as supporting the Little Mountain Test Facility. The selected candidate will be required to support installation, set-up and operational support with Windows systems and hardware interfaces. To be successful, the selected candidate must have an advanced understanding of Information Technology (IT) concepts and the ability to think independently and create solutions with non-standard equipment.
Position Responsibilities:
This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience, 9 years' related work experience, etc.).
Relocation:
This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Position Responsibilities:
- Identifies computing requirements and confers on system needs
- Performs a multidiscipline range of technical systems and application activities
- Installs, configures and maintains multiplatform systems hardware, software and components
- Develops, designs, integrates and maintains all computer applications
- Prepares release planning for software and hardware across the system
- Ensures system conforms with architectural objectives
- Evaluates complex system's production readiness and supportability
- Performs the restoration of routine to complex computing service operations
- Integrates security solutions into information systems

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Active CompTIA Security+ certified (or similar certification meeting DoD Directive 8570.01 Certification Requirements)
- 3+ years of experience with Windows Server and Desktop Operating Systems (Server 2016-2022, Windows 10)
- 3+ years of experience designing & implementing Windows Systems
- Experience troubleshooting operating system and installation problems
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- 3+ years of experience with Cisco switches and configurations
- 3+ years of experience with a broad range of basic systems and application support
- 3+ years of experience with maintaining/configuring AD
- 3+ years of experience with PowerShell to enable consistent, high-quality integration of hardware assets
- 3+ years of experience with scripts to automate deployment and configuration of operating systems
- 3+ years of experience creating and maintaining multiple virtual servers based on VMware
- 3+ years of experience evaluating and effectively communicating system problems and resolution
- 3+ years of experience Integrating security solutions (McAfee, Splunk, HBSS) into information systems
