Job Summary
Join our team as a Mortgage Loan Officer/Processor and play a pivotal role in processing loan applications for our VA client base. This hybrid position involves interviewing applicants, assessing financial information, evaluating creditworthiness, and guiding clients through the loan process. We're looking for someone with excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of VA loan procedures.
Responsibilities
Engage in live calls with new VA loan applicants, providing exceptional customer service and guidance.
Utilize Salesforce to manage and optimize new business opportunities effectively.
Conduct thorough interviews with applicants to gather financial details.
Evaluate creditworthiness based on established criteria.
Process loan applications accurately and efficiently.
Ensure timely clearance of approval conditions and assist clients in understanding contractual terms.
Maintain meticulous records for all accounts to ensure compliance and accountability.
Qualifications
Military service background preferred.
Previous experience as a Loan Processor is advantageous.
Familiarity with mortgage LOS systems such as Calyx, Encompass, or LendingQB.
Strong organizational skills, including proficiency in email management and written communication.
Exceptional customer service abilities with a talent for clear and effective communication.
Comprehensive understanding of VA loan processes, including WebLGY, Lender Handbook, AUS, etc.
