Job Description
Status: Part-time
Schedule: Weekend coverage (Saturday/Sunday), 8-10 hour shift coverage. Clinic hours of operation are from 7 am - 6 pm.
Qualification Requirements
Graduate from an accredited academic program in Radiologic Technology.
Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or the American Registry of Clinical Radiography Technologists.
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a radiologic technologist in the last 2 years.
Adhere to radiation safety policies and procedures.
Provide in-house diagnostic radiological services.
Maintain accurate records of outgoing/incoming radiographs.
Process digital images and submit them for interpretation by radiologists.
Ensure patients are properly prepared for procedures and obtain necessary consent.
Perform radiology examinations and procedures under the supervision of a radiologist.
Evaluate image quality and make initial observations.
Adapt examination protocols to improve diagnostic quality.
Serve as a patient advocate, ensuring quality care in the radiology department or clinic.
Document all procedures and maintain records in accordance with policies.
Perform system calibrations and quality control tasks.
Recognize equipment malfunctions and initiate repair call procedures.
Observe and report symptoms or situations requiring immediate attention or emergency measures.
