This is a full-time, Multilingual Language Learner/EL teaching position at Caesar Rodney High School.
QUALIFICATIONS: Individuals who are eligible or possess Teacher of English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL/ELL) or Teacher of English Learners are encouraged to apply. All candidates must apply on-line.
Applicant must meet State of Delaware certification requirements for ESOL/ELL. Successful candidates must provide evidence of successful PRAXIS II scores or a valid out of state teaching license. An educator applying for a license in the State of DE with less than 1 year of experience will be placed on an Initial License. Applicants with one completed year of experience, but less than 4 years of experience will receive an Initial License.
Out of State Candidates: An educator applying for a license in the State of DE with less than 1 year of experience will be placed on an Initial License. Applicants with one completed year of experience, but less than 4 years of experience will receive an Initial License. The State of Delaware DOE may recognize standard certificates from all other states as a means of eligibility.
SALARY: In accordance with the State of Delaware and local salary schedules, based on experience and degree. Benefits package included.

Pre-employment Requirements
- Individuals must provide official transcripts, if applicable, updated resume, and three (3) letters of recommendation.
- All persons employed by the Caesar Rodney School District are required to submit a criminal background check and a tuberculosis test.
- Anyone offered employment is required to provide the following: proper identification (Social Security Card and Driver’s License), documentation of eligibility for employment in the U.S.A., completion of I-9 form, and completion of paperwork for the Delaware Child Protection Registry.
