Our National Broker Relationship Manager will be responsible for leading the execution of our national broker strategy. This role will create and build long-term partnerships with commercial auto insurance brokers, casualty brokers, and speciality insurance practices nationally, driving sales and delivering exciting new business. We are excited to be able to hire a National Broker Relationship Manager focused on growing our insurance broker business with select brokers and offices in the top 50 in the US and developing a solid foothold using your knowledge, relationships and expertise. We are looking for a hungry, motivated, and talented insurance professional who loves insurance, technology, analytics, and offering solutions that positively impact our consumers. You'll be willing to open the hood and use data to bring business insight to our dynamic product offering. We are interested in candidates that will thrive in the Fairmatic culture, but that also have a proven track record at an insurance business that focuses on partnering with National brokers. This position is listed as "remote"; we do not have a physical office anywhere in the US. This role will be based in your region/territory, from home. We do expect up to 40% travel required and we would ideally like you to be based in a major city/insurance hub (NYC, Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas/Houston, San Francisco) preferred but open to most major metros where access to a major airport. - Develop and manage a business plan and a quote pipeline to drive profitable premium growth through select top 50 brokers in the US
- Travel around nationally visiting brokers to develop long-term trusted partnerships, present our program, and help to close enterprise-sized deals
- Build, own, and nurture deep and trusting relationships with broker partners
- Actively listen to broker and fleet feedback on what to keep doing or improve upon and relay to the business to inform strategic decision-making
- Act as a subject-matter expert on market pricing, industry trends, and competitor service offerings
- Work cross-functionally and develop strong internal working relationships with the insurance, underwriting, and customer engagement teams
- Mentor team members, support their professional growth, and nurture their curiosity
- Exemplify and foster Fairmatic’s humble, collaborative, and impact-obsessed culture
- Reach agreed-upon premium goals and targets
- 10+ Years experience managing insurance company relationships with brokers; at least 2-3 years experience with commercial auto
- Entrepreneurial mindset; the idea of running your own micro-business within a company is exciting to you
- You have carried 7 figure quarterly sales & growth targets & closed enterprise-sized deals before; not afraid to think bigger!
- Willingness to travel up to 40% nationally (and possibly international) travel for company events
- Ability to think in unconventional ways with a healthy skepticism of the status quo
- You’re a confident and humble owner of your work and have a “can do” attitude
- You enjoy not just finding a problem but creating a solution
