Role Overview:

The National Sales and Marketing Director will spearhead the development and implementation of a comprehensive Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy for our water meter AMI technology solutions. This pivotal role demands an individual with extensive industry expertise, a strong network, and a proven track record in establishing successful sales and marketing frameworks from inception.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and execute a robust GTM strategy, meticulously outlining sales and marketing tactics, target markets, and revenue forecasts for our water meter AMI solutions.
  • Construct, manage, and empower a team of skilled regional sales managers, ensuring alignment with company goals and effective territory management.
  • Develop pre- and post-sales support structures, nurturing client relationships and ensuring seamless transitions through the sales cycle and beyond.
  • Leverage extensive industry contacts and relationships to accelerate market penetration, forge strategic partnerships, and identify new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align product development with market demands and customer feedback.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and customer needs to refine and optimize sales strategies continually.
  • Present regular reports, KPIs, and market insights to the executive team, leveraging data to drive strategic decisions.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of demonstrable experience in the water meter AMI industry, with a proven record of building successful sales and marketing strategies from inception.
  • Minimum 5 years of demonstrable experience leading a nationwide sales team in water meter AMI
  • 2 years working in a water utility in water meter related capacity
  • Extensive industry contacts and relationships acquired through previous leadership roles, facilitating rapid market penetration and strategic collaborations.
  • Strong leadership acumen, capable of recruiting, mentoring, and inspiring high-performance teams of regional sales managers and support staff.
  • In-depth understanding of the water meter AMI technology landscape, market dynamics, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills to engage stakeholders at all levels effectively.
  • Willingness to travel extensively to nurture relationships, oversee regional activities, and represent the company at industry events. Travel to Israel at least bi-annually
