Operationally, you will ensure the network is reliable, scalable, secure, and capable of meeting our current and future business needs
Network Implementation: Implement network solutions, including hardware, software, and configuration changes
Deploy and maintain network components
Capacity Planning: Monitor network capacity requirements and ensure the network can handle increased traffic and new technologies
Security: Implement and maintain firewalls, VPNs, and access controls
Develop and enforce security policies and procedures
Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize network resources for maximum efficiency and reliability
Network Documentation: Create and maintain detailed network documentation, including network diagrams, configuration files, and inventory lists
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align network infrastructure with business goals
Primary responsibility: Senior Networking Administrator with a heavy focus on Firewall Administration.
Secondary responsibilities could include would be security, patching, server administration. This can largely be determined by skillset of the hired individual.
