Job Title: Network Engineer (US Citizen Only)

Location: Remote

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and deploy network solutions, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
  • Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis to resolve connectivity and performance problems.
  • Implement and maintain network security measures, including VPNs, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to plan and execute network upgrades, migrations, and expansions.
  • Perform regular network maintenance, including firmware updates, patching, and system backups.
  • Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
  • Analyze network traffic and usage patterns to optimize performance and ensure efficient resource utilization.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and end-users regarding network-related issues.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously improve network infrastructure.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience in network engineering or a similar role, with hands-on experience in network design and implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols, such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and DNS.
  • Proficiency with network hardware (e.g., Cisco, Juniper) and network management tools.
  • Experience with network security practices and technologies, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues and perform network performance tuning.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+) are a plus.
  • Federal Experience is a plus.
  • Required Security clearance.
