Base pay range
We are looking for a talented and motivated Network Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in network deployment, data center operations, and a solid foundation in Routing & Switching (R&S), with additional expertise in wireless technologies. Familiarity with Cisco, HPE, and Juniper products is essential. A CCNA or CCNP certification is preferable.
This is a PERMANENT position that is Remote.
Responsibilities
- Network Deployment: Plan, implement, and manage network infrastructure solutions, including configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting of network devices and systems.
- Data Center Operations: Support and maintain data center networking solutions, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
- Technical Expertise: Apply your knowledge of Routing & Switching (R&S) to design, implement, and optimize network architectures.
- Wireless Technologies: Manage and optimize wireless network environments to ensure reliable and secure connectivity.
- Security: Implement network security measures and best practices to protect client data and infrastructure (security knowledge is a plus).
- Vendor Technologies: Work with Cisco, HPE, and Juniper technologies to deploy and support network solutions.
- Meraki Solutions: Utilize Cisco Meraki products to enhance network performance and management (experience with Meraki is a plus).
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve network issues efficiently to minimize downtime and impact on clients.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting processes.
Required Skills
- Experience with network deployment and management, including data center operations.
- Proficiency with Cisco, HPE, and Juniper network products.
- Familiarity with Cisco Meraki solutions is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of Routing & Switching (R&S) and wireless technologies.
- Network security experience is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Network Engineer or similar role in an MSP or enterprise environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve network issues effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and clients.
