Summary:

The Network Security Manager is responsible for ensuring the security, stability, and integrity of our organization's network infrastructure. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining robust network security systems, including managing firewalls, monitoring network traffic, and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards. The employee will also be pivotal in integrating cloud-based solutions, optimizing network performance in cloud platforms, and supporting the virtualization of network resources. Collaborating closely with IT teams, this position requires a deep understanding of network protocols, firewall management, cloud security, and virtualization technologies. The role is critical in safeguarding the organization's network against threats, ensuring seamless connectivity, and aligning network strategies with broader business objectives.




Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity strategies and policies.
  • Monitor and analyze network traffic for security threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Conduct regular security audits, risk assessments, and penetration testing.
  • Manage and respond to security incidents and breaches.
  • Implement and manage endpoint security solutions, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Design, configure, and maintain the company's network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.
  • Ensure network performance, reliability, and scalability to support business operations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Implement and manage network monitoring and management tools.
  • Document network configurations, procedures, and policies.
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to address privacy and data protection requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or relevant work experience.
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CISM (Certified Information Security Manager), or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity and network engineering
  • In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices.
  • Strong understanding of networking, operating systems, and cloud platforms.
  • Experience in incident response, risk management, and compliance.
