At Three Rivers Behavioral Health, a 129 bed facility located in West Columbia, SC, we never forget that patients are people -- people with potential, who can have better relationships and live more productive lives. Three Rivers provides psychiatric, detoxification/rehabilitation, and dual diagnosis treatment through inpatient services for adolescents and adults. Our outpatient services include a Partial Hospitalization Program offering psychiatric day treatment for adults and seniors and an Adult Chemical Dependency Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program offering day and evening sessions.

Responsibilities: Responsible for delivering quality general and psychiatric nursing care to adolescent and adult patients hospitalized for treatment of psychiatric or emotional disorders; serving actively and constructively as a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team, supporting the organization and program or unit philosophy of care; ensuring the safety and well-being of each patient.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an accredited school of college of nursing. Associate or Bachelor degree in nursing; masters degree in nursing education preferred. Currently licensed in South Carolina or compact state as a Registered Nurse.

Experience: 5 years RN experience with 2 years in behavioral health preferred. At least 1 year of professional/staff development or nursing education preferred.

Thoroughly understands the management of the patient milieu including age specific and cultural requirements and has knowledge of Joint Commission, CMS, OSHA regulations and all other relevant state and federal regulatory standards including Baker Act.

BLS/CPI Certification training required. Facility will provide.
