Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated individual to provide comprehensive office administrative support and help with managing existing mineral ownership. A successful candidate will play a crucial role in assisting with the evaluation, acquisition, and management of mineral rights. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and a keen interest in the oil and gas industry.


Key Responsibilities:

-Administrative Support:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support and general office management.
  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate daily tasks.
  • Organize documents, reports, offers, and operator correspondence.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to facilitate transactions effectively.
  • Assist Landmen in preparing and reviewing contracts and other legal documents.

-Mineral Ownership & Title Management:

  • Manage and maintain communication with operators regarding changes in ownership, ensuring timely updates and accurate records.
  • Compare and verify title information against Division Orders (DOIs) to confirm accurate ownership interests.
  • Conduct regular audits of inventory, comparing inventory records with check stubs to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Assist Landmen with tasks including data conversion, research, and data cleanup projects as needed.

-Research and Analysis:

  • Research mineral rights and assist with locating contact information for mineral owners.
  • Research county records to gather mineral owner information.
  • Compile and analyze data to support decision-making processes.

-Documentation and Record-Keeping:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of transactions and agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Organize and manage electronic and physical files.
