Onboarding Processing Supervisor

Quality Carriers, Inc. (QC), headquartered in Tampa, FL, is North America's largest bulk liquid chemical carrier. Through a network of more than 100 terminals and facilities, we transport a broad range of chemical products and provide our customers with value-added transportation services.

The Processing Supervisor will oversee the driver processors in the performance of their job duties in processing drivers in an efficient and accurate manner to DOT regulations and company minimum onboarding criteria.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Train new hires and conduct cross training within the team.
  • Supervise team attendance and performance across multiple criteria.
  • Supervise a processing team of various responsibilities. (Verification of employment, audit, etc)
  • Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
  • Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
  • Work with the recruiting manager to provide reporting, data and recommendations.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Works to ensure reporting vendors are providing accurate and timely reports to the processing and recruiting team.
  • Works with vendors on delayed reports and provides any necessary required documentation to the vendors.
  • Steps in to cover for processing team members when they are out of office.
  • Ensures that all driver hiring complies with DOT, state and company requirements.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of SOP's, departmental procedures, and other necessary data collection.
  • Coordinate with other departments such as safety to ensure compliance and accurate processes.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities

Education And Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least two years related experience required.
  • Current human resources and/or compensation credentials or certification preferred.

Supervisory Responsibility

  • Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position, and days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. A minimum of **3 days in-office** attendance is required per week.

Travel

  • Daily work responsibilities will not require travel, but the expectation is that the employee is available to travel when required in cases of additional training, visiting terminals, orientations, etc.
