Operations Coordinator

RiverMead, a not-for-profit, full-service LifeCare Community in Peterborough, New Hampshire, is accepting applications for an energetic and dedicated Operations Coordinator. The Operations Coordinator will collaborate with the Assistant Director of Operations to ensure quality and efficiency in routine organizational processes as well as with special projects.

The Operations Coordinator will be at the heart of our operations team and perform diverse tasks across all departments. This role offers a stimulating and varied workload including optimizing RiverMead systems and applications, determining and implementing best practices, vendor & inventory management, and training and team collaboration initiatives. The Operations Coordinator will work closely with the Assistant Director of Operations to ensure that top-notch quality is delivered at every step.

  • Provides direct information technology support to all staff members in collaboration with third-party information technology vendors and contractors. Provides training to all technology users.
  • Provides administrative support to the Operations department. Assists with recordkeeping, inventory management, scheduling, budgeting, purchasing, and invoice reconciliations.
  • Assists with maintaining the community's operational systems and processes. Recommends ideas for improving operations and enhancing efficiency.
  • Assists the Assistant Director of Operations with special project and capital initiatives. Provides support with budget planning and monitoring of operational expenses.
  • Collaborates with team members across all departments to create a supportive and innovative work environment.
  • Ensures all local and state regulations and community/safety standards are met.
  • Assists with coordination and scheduling for Board of Trustee meetings and events as needed.
  • Perform other duties needed to help drive our vision, fulfill our mission, and abide by our organization’s values.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience and proficiency with various spreadsheet and database software applications required.
  • Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask, and work with limited supervision required.
  • Health care experience and/or experience working with the elderly preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the appropriate skills for communicating with individuals of all ages, especially the elderly population.
